Focus on safety and the environment
– part of our DNA

“It can be said very briefly. Safety and responsibility come before everything else. It’s in our DNA and the background and experience we bring from the industry. A focus that applies to all our activities and collaborations – from initial investigations to the eventual establishment and operation of a CO₂ storage facility.”

Ken Wesnæs, CEO

Safety and accountability

At CarbonCuts, safety, environmental protection and responsibility are at the heart of our work. We adhere to the highest international standards. They are based on the IOGP Life-saving Rules, the ALARP (As Low As Reasonably Practicable) principle and the Best Available Technology (BAT) to ensure that we can conduct our operations safely and with minimal impact on the environment.

Our goal is zero accidents, zero incidents and no long-term negative impact on the environment. We work systematically with risk assessment, prevention and continuous improvement to protect both people and the environment.

Responsibility also means openness. We work closely with authorities, experts and local communities to ensure transparency and dialog around our activities.

Safety and responsibility are not just a part of our business – they are the foundation of it. With a strong safety culture and a sustainable approach, we work every day to protect people, nature and the climate as we develop the CCS solutions of the future.
